Acceptable Use Policy

1. Why this policy exists
Temporary phone numbers are a privacy and convenience tool. They are not a tool for bypassing the law or platform rules. This policy lists the categories of use we will not support, and what happens when we discover them.
2. Prohibited content and behaviour
You agree not to use jiema.my, directly or indirectly, to: commit or facilitate fraud, including financial fraud, identity theft, or impersonation; harass, threaten, or dox any person; create accounts for the purpose of distributing or hosting child sexual abuse material; participate in money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, or any activity prohibited by US OFAC, UN, EU, or UK sanctions lists; spam, phish, or run any bulk unsolicited messaging operation; bypass account suspensions or bans on third-party platforms; mass-register accounts for resale; manipulate reviews, polls, or voting systems on any platform.
3. Account ownership rule
Use temporary numbers only on accounts and platforms you personally own and use. Verifying accounts on behalf of someone else (paid or unpaid), creating accounts to sell on, or otherwise using jiema.my as a tool for proxy registration is prohibited and is a frequent reason for account closure.
4. Geographic and platform restrictions
You are responsible for ensuring your usage complies with the laws of (a) the country you are personally located in, (b) the country whose phone number you rent, and (c) the terms of service of the platform you register on. We do not vet these for you. We will close accounts on credible reports of breaches under any of the three.
5. Automation and rate limits
Automated ordering, scraping the catalog, hammering APIs, or running headless browsers against our endpoints requires prior written agreement. Without it, accounts triggering abuse-shaped traffic are rate-limited then suspended.
6. Resale of jiema.my
You may not resell our service under a different brand without prior agreement. Reselling individual codes received on numbers you rent is also prohibited (a temporary number is not a commercial relay for someone else's signups).
7. Enforcement
We do not pre-moderate orders. When we receive credible reports — from platforms, partners, law enforcement, or our own monitoring — we investigate and may take any combination of: suspending the account, voiding unspent balance, blocking new orders, sharing relevant data with the reporter or with law enforcement when legally required. Significant or repeated violations result in permanent closure.
